Revealing Us
Revealing Us by Lisa Renee Jones
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The angsty finale I was waiting for!

Sara has left her dream job, her home, everything in order to follow Christ across the world and find out what torments his soul. Along the way they must face recent events that have caused trouble in Sara’s life and more of Chris’ past friendships that raises Sara’s insecurities and threatens their relationship. And still, there’s no word from Sara’s best friend Ella!

We found out about Sara’s secrets and Rebecca’s whereabouts in the previous book which lessens the mystery and suspense factor in this book and raises the question for me at least of, why are we still reading Rebecca’s journals? If it’s for the eroticism, I can pass. But from the beginning all I wanted to know was about the fascinating agonized artist Chris Merit and I finally get the answers which weren’t as dreadful as I imagined but heartbreaking none the less.

Sara continues with the extreme push and pull between her and Chris, but Chris is deliciously swoony.

There are some revelations about Ella, as Chris continues to help and support Sara in anything and everything but the end of the book leaves the reader with a cliffhanger regarding Sara’s BFF which you can find out about in the Careless Whispers trilogy that is now available in its entirety.

Revealing Us is the last book in the Inside Out trilogy by Lisa Renee Jones. It is a contemporary romance, told by the heroine’s point of view that has a happy ending. It is not meant to be read as a standalone and should be read after reading the first two books in the trilogy.

NOTE: This book is rated 3 stars, but the overall rating for the trilogy is 4 stars.
