Definitely a book to read!!!

There are people that want Dani for their own, to have her locked up and never see the light of day ever again, only to be used for their nefarious purposes.

There are others who also want her but for other reasons, as a link to someone else, and both of them will stop at nothing to get her.

Dani has been on the run from her past and from herself for the last few years, but now she finds herself contemplating and wanting a life she knows she can never have, but can Mark provide it for her? can he learn her secret and still consider her human?

Even though Dani is a submissive person, she has the heart and the spine of a warrior! her courage in the face of adversity is one of the thing that has Marc falling very hard for her. And even though she has been through a lot, she still has the ability to open herself up for another human being. She has always felt as less than human, and hated her special ability, but now, she has found that there are advantages to having it!!

Can you say Alpha male? well Marc Crofton  is the perfect definition of an alpha male! and on the plus side, he is gorgeous.

AS an ex-military PI, and  owner of a BDSM club, he has all the  necessary traits and ingrained  predisposition to keeps safe and alive his new love interest.

I have some issues with his personality, but that is just me, apparently  I’m not as submissive, lol. but you just can’t help but fall for the guy when all he wants is to protect Dani at all costs. And of course you just fall in love with his sidekicks, two very well trained and loving (with Dani)  German Shepherds.

The heat between the two character sizzles, and all the erotic scenes are very well written. Definitely a plus for the story.

The characters are well developed, and the story is a never ending suspense.

If you haven’t read the other books in  this series, this can be read as a stand alone book, but there are some references that you do need the previous book to understand. You wont be lost, that I can promise you.
